Summary/Abstract: Wars for national liberation, which Idriz Seferi conducted by the end of twentieth century were reflected also in Albanian popular poetry. Furthermore this reflection was expressed in its three dimensions. a. In military dimension Idriz Seferi conducted frontal wars in Grykë e Kaçanikut and Cernaleva against terrible Turkish commander, Durgut Pasha. Even though military superiority of the enemy was obvious, even according to popular song is shown that moral superiority was the strongest weapon for gaining a military victory although there is expressed strategic ability of popular commander Idriz Seferi, too. b. Idriz Seferi’s wars are distinguished also in illuminist aspect both in Albanian historiography and popular poetry. In these poems is also noticed demand and fight for Albanian schools from where would steam Albanian knowledge and science, a natural right which was denied only to Albanians by centuries. c. The centennial enemy, Ottoman Empire, had also endured debacle from our national leader in ideological aspect which wanted to achieve with the movement of Jonturks. Idriz Seferi was not defrauded, as numbered other leaders, by Jon Turks idolatry, and he didn’t put his weapons down even after the declaration of Turkish constitution in 1908, even after the given of formal rights which it foreseen, since he understood that between the lines and deeds were a large space. Idriz Seferi remained one of the most consequent national leaders, most principled and most lucid in entire National Movement, exactly how is shown in popular poetry of all Albanians.
