Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the development of methodology of teaching the history in Ukrainian county schools and gymnasiums, which served as the secondary school from 50 years of the 19th century to 30 years of the 20th century and analyzed the content of the history curriculum for different Ukrainian schools.
