Summary/Abstract: Since the eighties, apart from the urban homes in Antwerp, there have been virtually no new buildings added to the Open Air Museum of Bokrijk. In 1989 building works on the urban part were stopped. Today, plans to reproduce the sixties and seventies in the urban section have again been taken in hand. We hope to be able to bring back to life the period from 1958–1973 by the beginning of the 2012 season. In this article we will look into how the ideas for reproducing this era in Bokrijk were turned into reality.
