Summary/Abstract: Research question of this article is what are possible effects of the German Elections results (September 2017) on the dynamics of transatlantic relations, with the special emphasis on the bilateral relations between Germany and USA. The main thesis of the article is that election results are relatively more pessimistic for transatlantic cooperation in comparison to the results from 2013. This article analyzes electoral platforms and campaign speeches of parliamentary parties in the most relevant topics for the perspectives of transatlantic relations.
