Summary/Abstract: The number of possibilities the way we can interpret, imitate, recreate them is endless. Whilememes have been shaping our culture for thousands of years, due to the appearance of the internetwe have to face a new factor. The stream of memes in our daily news feed is becoming more andmore alarming, the users of social media are becoming irresponsible, uninformed which re-sults inan infl uenceable culture and society. Do memes really rule over the users or vice versa?
