Local and regional government debts and public debt in Poland and in the European Union

Summary/Abstract: The profile of the local and regional government debt is the aim of the article as the component of the public debt in Poland and other countries of the European Union. The subjective and generic structure of polish local and regional government debt was characterized in first part of article. It was also showed on his meaning in the general government public debt. Also legal limitations connected with drawing the debt by the particular local and regional government and causes of their occurrence were showed then. The comparison of local and regional government debts were executed in the last part of the article on the general government background in EU countries.
