Summary/Abstract: The goal of this research paper is to show the analysis results of individual national currencies position changes in world money functions. Conducted research has confirmed that US dollar keeps a dominant international currency position, although its share doesn’t grow in each world money function. Euro is still ranked at second place , but its function range is shrinking. Role of pound sterling and Japanese yen is minor, but big enough for being ranked at third and fourth places. On the other hand Swiss franc has been replaced mainly by renminbi (Chinese yuan).
