Summary/Abstract: In fact, according to the terms that we often use, the approach is already known (process, project, certain framework, action plans, national strategy, researches, Human Rights, Decade of Roma Inclusion, integration). When we describe an approach in this way it becomes easier for us when we need to visualize and describe what should be against what really is! Today, at the beginning of the end of the fifth year of the Decade of Roma Inclusion, the expectations of the Roma community are big (a significant percentage of the Roma have heard about the Decade but in reality only a small number of them know the essence of the process that is taking place) against the real expectations which proportionally grow with the more expressed problems in the community, and the growing doubt about the success of this process. Very often there are questions like: what has been done in the past five years; how would the processes develop further on; will the conflict among us inhibit the process; will the Government begin to realistically allocate finances for the implementation of the Action Plans. The following text represents comments and information about implementation of the activities from the field of Housing with accent of Roma population. Despite the real discrepancy between the idea and practice, the Roma population live with the idea of a proper home with standard conditions of life outside of street and disadvantaged neighborhoods, while in practice is realized that what is practically possible.
