ANALYZING THE SPEECH EXPRESSIVENESS USING PROSODIC DYNAMIC CONTROL

Summary/Abstract: At the level of verbal communication, the prosodic support and emotional space is modelled as a nonlinear system described through some parameters extracted from the spectral model of vocal wave, respectively the outline of the fundamental frequency, the time and energy of sonorous segments, the duration of non-acoustic segments and breaks, the voice timbre etc. Through the discretised addressing of the spectral model, the aim is to optimise the prosodic characteristics extracted from local variations of the fundamental frequency, by a method of dynamic control.
