Corruption and press right

Summary/Abstract: Szabó Zoltán in his lecture held on the 30th of September 2008 at the academic year opening ceremony of the UBB Department of Politics, Economics and Communication Sciences talked about the importance of the press in the campaign against corruption.Newspaper-writers and public communicators are to fight this battle, but the power pressure and multiple press suits keep them away from exposing corruption. The lecturer believes that at the root of the problem lies the lack of knowledge and adaptation of international press legal system and legal practice concerning different democratic states.
