Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the social organization of old Turkic society. It analyzes the information of the written sources – ancient Turkic runic inscriptions and Chinese written sources, as well as the data involved in archeology and ethnography of the nomads. Old Turkic society was divided into three strata: a) khagan, his family and beg; b) simple nomads; c) slaves and slave. The social structure of ancient Turks was due and adapted to the conditions of warfare with neighboring peoples and states.
