Summary/Abstract: In the article the creative searches of soviet artists-constructivists of 20th of ХХ age are examined in industry of creation of clothes, their influence on becoming of design of suit as a separate type of design and forming of him naukovo-teoretichnoy base. Factors which resulted in the necessity of creation of clothes of new standard are examined; facilities and receptions which were used by creators for a grant the suit of maximal functionality and expressiveness are analyzed.
