Summary/Abstract: The modern liturgical music of the Roman-Catholic Church in Ukraine and Russia in the context of Catholic liturgical music tradition of the late XXth – early XXIth century is characterized in the article. The specificity of the modern Ukrainian and Russian RomanCatholic liturgical repertoire is determined, the role of traditional and modern sacred song’s tradition in the process of its development is outlined.
