Summary/Abstract: The scientific article is devoted the questions of advertising of book, in particular, to possibilities and potential of such powerful, effective publicity instrument as fairs or exhibitions. Determinations of concepts are also resulted, characteristic priznaki, specific and types of exhibitions-fairs is outlined. In the article ґрунтовно the exhibitions of books and fairs which take place on the walks of life of country and abroad are explored, description and time of the traditional conducting is given.
