Summary/Abstract: In the phenomena described by today as a «monastery culture», we can distinguish two concepts of art – the concept of «artistic minimalism» and «the idea of socially-oriented art». Embodiment of the first of them we can be described as «the monastic art», the second – «the monastery art».
