Summary/Abstract: In the novel "One Side of Istanbul", which is separated from the section by the way of the chronotop, a structure suitable for solving obtained. The novel, which is regarded as a completed structure in itself, has been dealt with in three parts as starting status, changing status and sought status. In this way, it is seen that the structure of the novel is based on this pattern, and that the author's narrative strategy is driven by time-spatial elements. In this novel, the relationship between the development of the narrative adventure and the chronotope structure is also revealed. Chronotop is the first part of the narrative. In terms of the value it represents, it is also the source of the narrative story. The chronotop improves the narrative by providing a change of status. Thus, the establishment of the chronotop determines the formation of the novel.
