Summary/Abstract: The influence of globalization and modern integration processes on the world community development together with transformations in Russian socio-economic space at the turn of XX–XXI centuries have changed the volumes and directions of outbound and inbound flows. This article examines dynamics and characteristics of the outbound and inbound flows of Russia, which were formed by the non-CIS countries at the beginning of the XXI century. A study of the quantative data on mobility dynamics during 2000–2012 helped to reveal five leading countries: Germany, China, Lithuania, Finland, and Estonia. Quantitative contribution of the leading countries to the development of the outbound and inbound flows of Russia was determined. The structure of the studied flows was examined. Mobility dynamics of the citizens on the territory of the leading courtiers was presented from its historical perspective for the period of 1985–2011. A research of the mobility indexes’ dynamics revealed existing trends of citizens’ mobility between the above mentioned leading countries and Russia for the nearest future: loss of the leading position by Lithuania on formation and development of the outbound and inbound flows in the Russian Federation; reduction of the role played by Estonia; enhancement of the influence exerted by Finland on the increase of the outbound flow and reduction of the inbound flow; amplification of the role played by Germany and China.
