ПРАШАЊЕТО НА КОНКУРЕНТНОСТА ВО РАМКИТЕ НА ЕУ
COMPETITIVENESS AS AN EU ISSUE

Summary/Abstract: Republic of Macedonia is in a process of intensifying economic growth and decreasing unemployment. Those processes are interconnected and the solution of the unemployment burden is not possible only through short - term measures of the current economic policy, but the ultimate solution is the economic growth. Taking that as a starting point, this paper is a presentation of the basic recommendations of a EU Document entitled: “White Paper on Growth, Competitiveness and Unemployment”. The strategic directions of the EU for the questions of economic growth, competitiveness and unemployment should be a guide for the creation of the corresponding processes in the Republic of Macedonia. Those issues are also fundamental parts in the implementation of the economic criteria for EU accession.
