Summary/Abstract: The following article is concerned with the traditional Czech festival of Russian films taken place since 15 to 17 November 2013. Particular attention is paid to the image of the modern Russian cinema abroad. The question of such a complex phenomenon as "New Wave" has been considered in detail as well as its specific character and the attitude of the audience to this direction.
