Summary/Abstract: Paper analyzed the positive law framework for institution of Ombudsman in Republic of Serbia. Current legal solutions have been critically considered in relation to various types of Ombudsman that exist in Serbian law and de lege ferenda suggestions were made. Authors propose introducing military ombudsman and police ombudsman which is connected to a better realization of rule of law principle in the security sector.
