Summary/Abstract: Turkey-Russia relations have more than 500 years history. The history of these two countries, which are bumpy and full of wars, has changed with the years of 2000's. In this article Turkey and Russia relations were examined in the course of Justice and Development Party (JDP). What are the crises and opportunities and how they emerged in the relations between these two countries was discussed. It has been explored how regional and global events affect the relations between the two countries and how they have positioned themselves against these events. An assessment has been made especially on political developments and the economic relations have not been mentioned. Finally, this article tried to understand the reason for this change in relations and how the two countries should follow a policy towards regional incidents.
