Summary/Abstract: Every approach of rare cosmic events with variable intensity for asymmetric events (RCEVI-ASIM) shall start, on the one hand, from the measurement of their intensity and on the effects triggered on Earth and on life on Earth and, on the other, from the probability of their occurrence. This because all these factors may undergo large variations and RCEVI-ASIM’s effects analysis and management depends to a large extent on the degree in which these factors vary. Thus, in the previous studies, we identified three main categories of RCEVI-ASIM which may affect considerably life on Earth – a) Gamma-ray explosions; b) space weather; c) the intersection of Earth’s orbit with the trajectory of other cosmic objects. This study will focus only on the latter mentioned ones as Gamma-ray explosions with the potential to seriously affect life on Earth are extremely rare and have a very low probability. Space weather perturbations or the intersection of Earth’s orbit with the trajectory of other cosmic objects are events happening more often, at least, in their less intense form which doesn’t jeopardize gravely the activities on Earth. Thus, in the last year, one could notice an increased frequency of the news announcing either a particularly intense and even unusual solar activity or various cosmic objects nearing to our planet.
