Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the development trends of Poland's transport system, paying particular attention to intermodal transport. The development of intermodality allows for better functioning of the supply chains, which results in the creation of logistics centers or distribution centers. The issue of intermodal transport due to its importance for transport efficiency, traffic safety and environmental protection requires deep analysis. The strategic objective of developing intermodal transport in Poland is to create favorable technical, legal, organizational and economic-financial conditions for the dynamic development of the intermodal transport system.
