Summary/Abstract: Gustave le Bon is the founder of the theory of collective behaviour through the work called “The Psychology of the Crowds”, of the individuals in a group, who tend to ignore their own as well as their society’s system of values. Edward L. Bernays presents the vision of public relations, persuasion, manipulation, consensus building, so important in the good functioning of a society. Fonareff Nicolaevici presents how a nation can be entrenched through mental terrorism. Many Western journalists challenge the official versions of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Middle East wars, and other attacks in Europe and the world.
