Summary/Abstract: Failure to examine the contents of cargo at the time when it is accepted for storage shall not entail loss of rights but will lead to shift of burden of proof to the depositor, who has to prove that the damage to the cargo occurred in the period between the time it is received for storage and the time it leaves the warehouse and is delivered to the consignee.
