Summary/Abstract: The author draws attention to the disagreements, even contradictions existing between the growth of contemporary science, technology, production, and material circumstances of living, on the one hand, and the development in education, morality, value system and culture on the other. The production of material goods and the spiritual superstructure are not only not directly proportionate but appear at increasing frequency as quantities invertedly proportionate. Social crises, a neglect of cultural, spiritual, human values, increasingly frequent and greater crises of education and erases of morality clearly testify to this. Marks of the crisis in education are a narrow-minded intellectualism, a didactic materialism, lack of experience of values, anarchism masking as freedom, and an erroneously aimed education-aimed at the producer rather than at the man.
