Summary/Abstract: In my paper I examine how a 20th century artist, Zoltán Andory Aladics, created the visual representation of the Szeklerland withinthe genre of the postcard. The central question of the research is how the visual system created through the depictions of the 20th centurypostcards relates to the image of the Szeklerland which visual system actually determines our days. My aim is that to make a specialinterpretation of the Szekler life visible through these postcards, and also to make the rethinking of the Szekler life possible. (As a researcherkezdetű mondat jó!) Folytatás: From that point of view I tried to answer the question what the postcards tell us about, and what is thatwe add to them in a following century. What could they see in the 20th century and what can we see on them nowadays?
