Summary/Abstract: Reverberation is the combination of all reflections that occur in sound distribution of an enclosed space. Even at the dawn of sound recording, attempts had been made by the sound industry, to create different forms of artificial reverberation to an artistic end. This article provides a brief historical overview of the emergence of artificial reverberation’s main and most important types, and its parameters.
