Environmental public interest litigation (EPIL) has become a crucial method to protect environment, especially public interest relief. One of the multiple purposes of EPIL is good environmental governance which is the practical purpose. The elements of good environmental governance include transparency, participation, accountability, rule of law, effectiveness and efficiency.
