Projekt międzypokoleniowy – próba asymilacji
An intergenerational project – an attempt at assimilation

Summary/Abstract: The following article presents the understanding of the concept of ‘assimilation’ from the pedagogic perspective. However, in order to refer to the understanding of assimilation between generations as a platform, which may be a means of eliminating the education gap, the article describes the project Ów Rzeszów and its outline, which was conducted as part of the “Seniors in the action” scheme, organised by the Society of Creative Initiatives − “ę”. By analysing the specificity of relations between generations, it attempts to show how a project can be used as a tool to search for an educational alternative. The author makes an analysis, draws conclusions and looks for the answers to the set question.
