MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN PUBLIC SAFETY BY THE EXAMPLE OF STATE FIRE SERVICE

Summary/Abstract: The article shows that the issue of public security permeates all spheres of human activity and that State Fire Service is an important element in the state security system. In this context the legitimacy of using technolog- ical innovations in the State Fire Service was described. They are especially needed in that formation due to the nature of firefighters’ activities and risks associated with them. Next, modern solutions dedicated to this service were indicated, for example mobile robots, unmanned aerial vehicles and other innovative fire equipment. In conclusion, the author clearly stated that despite technological development in the country and in the world State Fire Service still lacks modern technological solutions.
