Summary/Abstract: This article is the conclusion regarding the participation of the Polish Military Contingent in the stabilization mission under the name Iraq Freedom in 2003. The issue presented in the article is multidimensional. The aim of the article is to show Poland’s participation in the Iraqi Freedom operation – 2003. Research methods that help in writing an article are the analysis of sources of literature and articles posted in the Internet. The main research questions covered by the article are: what is Poland’s participation in the Iraqi Freedom operation? How many Polish soldiers participated in this stabilization mission? What is the time frame of the stabilization oper- ation? What area did the operation take place in? How did the stabilization mission end and how Poland’s participation has affected it. The results of the considerations indicate that the participation of the Polish Quota was very significant in the Iraqi stabilization mission in 2003. Poland appeared as a country very professionally trained to participate in such difficult stabilization missions. In addition to the good training of the armed forces that Poland sent, our contingent was very well equipped in terms of atmospheric and geographical conditions prevailing in that area.
