Reflections in Light of Recent Church Documents

Summary/Abstract: The study deals with the role that local churches could and should play in the integration process of immigrants into the host society. The starting point of the refl ection constitute the recent Church documents concerning the pastoral care of migrants and itinerant people. The study has two parts: fi rstly, the theological fundamentals are introduced; second, the contribution of local churches to the integration of migrants is described.
