On Relation between Semantic and Formal Syntax

Summary/Abstract: The paper aims at defining the level of syntactic abstraction optimal as a starting point of a confrontative description of several dialectal systems. It seams that the best solution would be to start notions such as sentence and noun phrase, i. e. with syntactic constructions not directly dependent on the lexical and morphological exponents thereof.
