Summary/Abstract: The body, which occupies a space in the universal space, has begun to be seen in the descriptions on the first cave walls of as the subject of the paintings. Human body was the closest to the human beings that they began to explore, to recognize, to make sense of. Body image is the most difficult form to solve the which is depicted, drawn and painted during the history of art. The desire to make perfect copies of the body in the face of its excellent mechanical structure has been the tradition of paintings for centuries. When it came to the 1900s, the differentiations in perceiving the world caused the distorted forms in the paintings. With the alteration of body portrayal, artistic styles and movements have formed new tongues. Among these movements, the art movement that distorts the form the most and transforms the objects and the bodies has become cubism. However, long before the emergence of this movement, the bodies that were disguised in the miniatures of Mehmet Siyah Kalem, who distorted the forms of the figures in the 15th century and continued to exist mysteriously in the history of art, were distorted and deformed formally.
