Summary/Abstract: By the time of the Italian capitulation, the National Liberation Front organisations had developed a considerable underground publishing activity. Periodic and non-periodic publications were used by the National Liberation Movement both for spreading its propaganda and the promotion of national culture which had been suppressed in Primorska for many years by the Italian Fascist regime. The publications also aimed at gaining public support for the objectives of the new movement and contributed to the revival of the Slovene literary language in public.
