Analysis of the situation in sectors: developers, construction industry and building materials industry on the Warsaw Stock Exchange during crisis periods

Summary/Abstract: The goal of the article is assessment of reaction of companies belonging to sectors: industry construction, developers (real estate) and building materials industry to crisis situations against other sectors on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. 328 companies were analysed in the first period (crisis 2008–2009) and 376 in the second one (bear market 2011). All companies were listed on the continuous and parallel market on the WSE. The result of the analysis is assessment of situation of three analysed sectors connected with the real estate market against other sectors.
