Summary/Abstract: Topis of discution in the given article is ideological gap in Serbia wirth greater impetus given after the NATO aggresion. For example author gives old communist story on “class enemies” as transformed into new one on “patriots” and “traitors”. Main function of ideological story is to shift the attention of the people from social and political crysis and of evident failures of the government. Consequence of the story is diminishing the allready low degree of toleration within Serbian society and hindering the consensus of main questions, for there “could not be negotiations with the traitors”.
