Summary/Abstract: Romania entered the First World War in the summer of 1916 after two years of negotiations with the belligerent sides. In the second Crown Council, organized at the Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest, were reflected the two options of the Romanian political elites: Pro-Antanta, pro-Central Powers. In the documents introduced in this text are presented, according to the chronological method, testimonies of contemporaries which capture the most important events that took place between 1916-1918
