Summary/Abstract: The article provides a brief analysis of sources known to the author on the history of the participation of Jews in the revolutionary movement in the Russian Empire.The methods of modern source study were used, with the help of which the informational possibilities of unpublished and published documents were established, and their assessment was given in terms of their scientific significance for studying the place and role of Jews in the history of the revolutionary movement in the Russian Empire.
