Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to empirically investigate the impact of gross domestic product (GDP), vocational education and university education on youth unemployment. ARDL bound test analysis is preferred as the method of empirical analysis. The analysis includes the periods between 1988-2017 and annual data is used. The results of the study indicated that GDP, vocational education and university education have a negative impact on youth unemployment in the long term. In the short term, GDP has a statistically significant and positive effect on youth unemployment rate. It was also found that the impact of vocational education and university education on youth unemployment was negative and statistically significant.
