Summary/Abstract: In the present paper, the authors analyze the selected behavior of online auctions users. In order to collect the appropriate research material, authors created a special application (web crawler) that brings together data about online auctions of the largest auction site in Poland. The most important conclusions may include that the time of the auction does not necessarily affect the amount of bids in the auction, some groups of goods and services have a decidedly different characteristics in terms of number of bids and, finally, the general auction sites are selling goods with a small final price.
