Summary/Abstract: The article raises the issues of ethnopolitical processes in the countries of Eastern Europe and their real impact on the security of the subregion. The author in the introduction indicates what are the ethnopolitical processes, then examines their occurrence in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine. Analyzing the representations of ethnic communities in the authorities of individual states, their participation in state management, as well as socio-political and political behavior, indicates that they pose a real threat to the internal and external security of the countries of Eastern Europe.
