Summary/Abstract: Companies, facing constant turbulences of the competitive environment, shall adapt their growing strategy by creating capacity for cooperation with different entities in innovation process. As types of innovation networks vary, question arises whether it is possible to manage company’s development to achieve its success by balance long-term growth and support short-term operations. The main goal of this paper is to seek a configuration of activities of innovation network managing that provide best results in implementing exploration, exploitation and ambidexterity strategy. To resolve these problems representative empirical research was conducted, covering 400 medium-sized and large enterpris esoperating in the Republic of Poland in years 2015–2017.
