Summary/Abstract: The topic of the present paper is focused on the study of five medieval iron anchors which were retrieved most probably through trawling in Constanţa underwater area; at present they serve as decorative objects inside some fishing complexes on the South shoreline Constanţa. The study highlights the value of the anchors by describing their technical and physical features, their conservation status, by establishing their age and stating hyposteses regarding the way and the place in which they were retrieved.
