Summary/Abstract: This study was conducted to identify factors affecting the level of satisfactionand dissatisfaction of online adjunct faculty in an online learning environmentat an English speaking Caribbean university. The factors investigated includedpersonal, institutional; technological, institutional and administrative. Anadapted online faculty satisfaction survey was developed and administered toall instructors via the online survey site: Surveymonkey. The sample includedE-tutors, Course Coordinators and Group Facilitators who were contractedduring Semester 2 of the 2012-13 academic year and those who had beenpreviously contracted within the past three years. Of the 345 faculty memberswho received surveys, 249 responded, thus achieving a response rate of 72%.
