Summary/Abstract: The article is a presentation of the new entity at the level of the European Union - the European Public Prosecutor's Office made in the form of an analysis starting from the acts adopted in its preparation, negotiation and establishment. Relevant to the analysis are the main reasons that have called for measures to control and supervise the European budget, given that the European Public Prosecutor's Office will have an overview of the European financial situation that will allow it to pursue fraud more effectively and, in general, financial crimes.
