Summary/Abstract: We often find the expression "ability". Even more among teachers, parents, or other specialists. We all want our students to excel in teaching. It is important, of course, to understand and to realize that an ability represents not only excellence in mathematics, biology, history, chemistry, etc. An ability is the way by which our students (our children) sound an alarm signal for us to use that diamond that requires careful and continuous processing, so that afterwards it can shine and be admired by those around. In the current speaking, a teacher says about a child that he has abilities for a particular area (math, drawing, music), when he or she achieves high performance in this field, for example, if he/she gets very good grades, or awards at different competitions. This article represents a theoretical vision of what abilities mean and what their role is in the lives of our students. By abilities we can differentiate between individuals. If all normally grown people possess a certain characteristic, then this is no longer an ability. All students (except those with serious illnesses) can run or talk, but not all of them can use words or practice a certain sport.
