Risk in stakeholder management in public organization

Summary/Abstract: In public management a particular importance is attributed to the organization’s stakeholder. Public organizations function to meet the expectations of their stakeholders. At the same time, stakeholders are a source of great risk for the organization, which makes it necessary to properly manage relations with them. The main objective of this work is analyzing the stakeholder management and the risks they may bring to a public organization. As a research method the author used the review of the literature. The one most important risk identified in the area of stakeholder management is too strong resource dependence from stakeholders.
