Summary/Abstract: Conceptual constructions of management quality and adequacy for the mathematical model of an object within management are correlated. Deterministic, stochastic and uncertain situations are localized in the estimation of adequacy. The article exposes the expediency of model adequacy optimization. It identifies the most essential features of the models and objects for the adequacy estimations. We offered a typology of problems for adequacy estimation involved in mathematical models with the formalization, which examines the most problematic issues of adequacy estimating in the considered area.
